We will then take you through the dental veneers treatment plan and answering any questions you have.

STEP

02

Your Individualised Treatment Plan

Once this information has been assessed, we will create a unique treatment plan for you based on your individual smile and lifestyle. It may be the case that treatment is needed to address any oral health issues before placing the veneers.

STEP

03

Treatment Procedure

To fit porcelain veneers, a dentist will first remove a thin layer of enamel and take an impression of the teeth to create a mould. Your dentist will fit a temporary veneer so you will leave the clinic with the same look you had before.

The next stage will be the most important one which is producing a plastic veneers, which will show you the look of the final veneers.  At this stage we can make any modification that you like until you’re fully satisfied. Then we copy the final design on to the final permanent veneers.

When your veneers are ready, we test both the fit and the colour, as well as make any adjustments that are needed.

Then, your dentist will bond the veneers to the teeth

Frequently Asked Questions

Dental veneers are a premier cosmetic treatment. While the cost of a porcelain veneer can range significantly, this depends on the quality of the veneers and the degree to which you would like them colour-matched to your existing teeth. To find out more about our pricing, feel free to contact us on: 02 9150 9029 to discuss our payment options.

When maintained well, veneers can last for 10 to 15 years — and in many cases, even longer. However, like natural teeth, day-to-day activities can result in gradual wear and tear of your porcelain veneers.

Just like natural teeth, you need to maintain your dental veneers properly with regular 6-monthly check-up appointments. You also need to brush and floss your teeth daily.

Most patients report no pain or discomfort at all during treatment. This is because the procedure is minimally-invasive. The only preparation required for veneers is the removal of a thin layer of enamel from your teeth.

Treatment times vary from patient to patient, but for most patients the entire process usually takes 3-4 sessions, including the consultation.

In many cases, the answer is yes. If you’re insured, there is a good chance that your health insurance policy covers your veneers treatment. Most private health insurance funds cover dental care as part of their General treatment, Extras, or Ancillary section. If you have any price-related questions, feel free to contact us on: 02 9150 9029 to discuss our payment options.
